realized this morning that this internet has been making me an anxious spectator and little else. going to take a break and live in the world again.

in high school i consistently read a poetry forum for writers to post their work and get feedback. their were lots of rules feedback:post ratios, but i think most crucially, they asked everyone to lurk for 6 months before posting.

i want my internet to be more listening and less yelling, so i’m stepping back to clear my head, focus on some personal goals, and hopefully return with a better sense of how i want my internet to look and what i’m going to do to get it there.

As we were packing up to head back to NC, Bryan took about 30 minutes and wrote a song for us to play. We workshopped it for a couple of hours and recorded what we had on a single mic in the kitchen.

I don’t know much about harmonica (or bridges, for that matter) but I think it sounds pretty alright here and everyone else is obviously on point. Basically, I’m pretty stoked on this song. Luv friends/luv making music/etc. etc.
